129th District Map

On November 23, 2009 I announced my candidacy for State Representative for the 129th District to an enthusiastic crowd of supporters at Columbia Traders.  One of the first questions I was asked is why am I doing this. Given the severity of the challenges we are facing in Missouri  and the dubious path the Democrats are taking us down, this election and the legislative process are too important for me to continue to sit on the sidelines. My wife, Dr. Ellen Nichols, and I have strongly supported Republican candidates in the past but I felt this just wasn’t enough.  With Ron Richard moving to the Missouri Senate, the need to ensure that true Republican leadership represents my friends and neighbors in the 129th district after the next election was too much to ignore.  Because of my beliefs, my life experiences, and my involvement in our community, I have the credentials for the job and I am the best candidate to represent our district.

Bill has been endorsed by two key Missouri business organizations — the Missouri Chamber PAC and the Associated Industries of Missouri (AIM) PAC.

Bill has been endorsed by both the Missourians United for Life and the Missouri Right to Life Political Action Committee.

I am asking for your support and your vote August 3rd in the Republican Primary.
